"Even though I have this problem...I completely love and accept myself."

It is interesting to consider that wanting to change can be a form of self-hatred. "If only I were different...then I would be more lovable...a better person...more successful...etc. Yet, if you first accept yourself where you are, it is paradoxically much easier to make a change.

What is EFT Tapping?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as ‘EFT Tapping’ or simply as ‘Tapping’. The therapeutic effects of this technique are widely recognized around the world.

Accepting What Needs to Change

Nothing can change without acceptance. When you are tapping your acupuncture points, it is profoundly helpful to identify what you are currently having a problem with, and then to love and accept yourself as much as you can for having this problem. This acupressure acceptance process quickly reverses the resistance that typically comes up in your nervous system when you want to make a deep and lasting change.
